Background

Tanney enters his third season with the Colts as the team's passing game coordinator. He previously served in a variety of roles with the Philadelphia Eagles, including quarterbacks coach (2023), assistant quarterbacks/offensive assistant (2022) and offensive quality control (2021) following his nine-year NFL playing career (2012-20).

Additionally, the Colts set an NFL record with 13 consecutive games of 300 total yards with at least one passing touchdown and at least one rushing touchdown (Week 16 of 2024 to Week 10 of 2025).
