Mick Lombardi is in his sixth overall season with the 49ers and first as the team's quarterbacks coach. He spent the 2024 season with the 49ers as senior offensive assistant.
In his role as senior offensive assistant in 2024, Lombardi helped lead a 49ers offense that featured two AP Second-Team All-Pros in FB Kyle Juszczyk and TE George Kittle. San Francisco's offense finished tied for second in yards per play (6.2), fourth in yards per game (376.3), fourth in passing yards per game (249.1) and fourth in total yards (6,397). With Lombardi's help, Kittle registered his second-consecutive and fourth overall 1,000-yard season, giving him the third-most 1,000-yard seasons in franchise history and making him one of five tight ends in NFL history to tally four career seasons with 1,000-or-more yards. Lombardi also helped WR Jauan Jennings register career highs in receptions (77), receiving yards (975) and receiving touchdowns (six).
