Matt Daniels enters his eighth season coaching in the NFL and fourth with the Minnesota Vikings as special teams coordinator in 2025, after spending two seasons as the assistant special teams coach for the Dallas Cowboys. He brings nine total seasons of coaching experience and eight years of playing experience, both collegiately and professionally, to Head Coach Kevin O'Connell's staff. In 2024, Daniels coached LS Andrew DePaola to a third-consecutive Pro Bowl nod, becoming the first long snapper in NFL history to be selected to the Pro Bowl in three-straight seasons (2022-24).
