Brendan Sorsby's "draft stock" is effectively non-existent right now, Jets rumors aside. Here's the short version:
The NFL declined to hold a 2026 Supplemental Draft — Sorsby's only pathway into the league this season is gone. The league cited insufficient documentation and concerns about his willingness to accept responsibility for NCAA gambling violations. The Jets were one of the previously discussed landing spots (along with the Packers, Steelers, and Vikings), but those talks are moot now. (from the Brendan Sorsby page)
On top of that, the CFL also barred him from signing, so he has no professional football option at any level for the rest of 2026.
As of June 30, Sorsby and the NFL settled things — he won't sue and will instead prepare for the 2027 NFL Draft. So for fantasy purposes, he's completely off the board for 2026. His next chance at being drafted or signed by a team (Jets or otherwise) is a full year away, and he has no game reps or tape coming in the meantime to boost his stock. A long shot in dynasty formats, but nothing actionable for 2026.
