Not really — Diego Pavia was a long-shot UDFA rookie who was never going to be the primary backup. The Ravens signed him in April as a QB3/QB4 camp arm, then waived him in late July to free up a roster spot for veteran center Ethan Pocic (from the Diego Pavia page). So his departure doesn't change the real backup picture.
That said, the wiki only lists Lamar Jackson as a QB on the Ravens' roster — it doesn't name his actual backup(s). If you're worried about Jackson's injury history (hamstring, back, knee issues in 2025 — per the Lamar Jackson page), it's worth noting the Ravens are heading into camp with a thin QB room behind a QB who's missed games in multiple recent seasons. Keep an eye on whether they add a veteran backup before Week 1.
