Dial Jr. was claimed off waivers by Miami after the Patriots cut him during 53-man roster reductions on September 2, 2026. He appeared in all 17 Patriots games as a rookie (2024), mostly on special teams, but missed his entire 2025 season with a torn ACL suffered in training camp. He returned in 2026 as a nickel back and four-unit kicking game contributor but lost his roster spot to rookie corners Karon Prunty and Channing Canada.
