2026 Outlook

Anudike-Uzomah is in a make-or-break year after missing all of 2025 with a hamstring injury and having his fifth-year option declined. He says he's the healthiest he's felt during training camp and is focused on proving himself. He's worked out with George Karlaftis in the offseason to develop his pass-rush technique. Head coach Andy Reid highlighted his improved get-off and power coming from the core area (hips and hamstrings where he had issues). Backup Ashton Gillotte is also dealing with a hamstring injury, giving Anudike-Uzomah a path to significant early-season work. In preseason week 1, Anudike-Uzomah appears to be the front-runner for the second EDGE starting role next to Karlaftis after missing 2025. He's contending against second-round pick R Mason Thomas, and is trending up as a potential IDP starter early in the season. (per Preseason Week 1 IDP Takeaways - The IDP Show)
