Background
16 NFL seasons. OC in Kansas City 2023-25 (back-to-back Super Bowl wins, second stint after originally serving as Chiefs OC in 2017). Bears HC 2018-21 (34-31 record, 2018 Coach of the Year, division title that first year). Coached Patrick Mahomes from his 2017 rookie year onward. Spent his entire NFL coaching career under Andy Reid outside of his Chicago stint.
Scheme and Tendencies
West Coast/Reid offense with motion, RPOs, and quick passing concepts. Inherits Jaxson Dart coming off a rookie year that put him in finalist contention for AP Offensive Rookie of the Year (24 total TDs, franchise-record 9 rushing TDs). Pairs with Brian Callahan as Giants passing game coordinator / QBs coach (Callahan developed Joe Burrow in Cincinnati) and Greg Roman as senior offensive assistant — a heavy QB-development staff around Dart.
