Background

Sewell is in his fourth season with the Cardinals after being hired as assistant special teams coach on 3/1/23. He came to Arizona from Eastern Michigan, where he coached running backs for four years (2019-22) and added the title of special teams coordinator in 2022. He has 13 years of collegiate coaching experience, including eight seasons coaching special teams, and was selected to work as the special teams coordinator for the National team at the 2026 Senior Bowl.
