Background

Roy Anderson enters his third year as the cornerbacks coach of the Philadelphia Eagles after joining the team during the 2024 offseason. He facilitated the development of Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean in 2025, the first Eagles cornerbacks to receive first-team AP All-Pro honors since 2004; Mitchell led all corners in opponent catch rate (42.4 pct.) and DeJean allowed no passing touchdowns at nickel. In 2024, Anderson was part of the Super Bowl LIX-winning staff that led the league in total defense (278.4 ypg) and passing defense (174.2 ypg).
