Background

Ron Gould enters his fourth season with the Los Angeles Rams as the running backs coach. He joined the Rams after spending six seasons at Stanford leading the running backs, and has 35 seasons of coaching experience overall, including four as a head coach at UC Davis and 24 years in the Pac-12 Conference. In 2025, running back Kyren Williams recorded his third-straight season of more than 1,100 rushing yards, while Blake Corum set new career highs with 145 carries for 746 yards and six touchdowns. Gould has mentored elite backs throughout his career, including Marshawn Lynch, C.J. Anderson and Shane Vereen.
