Ricky Manning was named assistant defensive backs/nickels coach on Feb. 10, 2026. He spent 2024 as cornerbacks coach for the Las Vegas Raiders following three seasons (2021-23) as a defensive assistant with the New York Jets, working with a secondary that finished fifth in fewest passing yards allowed. Manning began his NFL coaching career as assistant defensive backs coach for the Seattle Seahawks (2016-17) and previously coached at the high school and junior college levels. A third-round pick by Carolina in 2003, he had a six-year NFL playing career at cornerback and was a four-year starter at UCLA.
