Patrick Toney was hired as defensive passing game coordinator on Feb. 27, 2026. He came to Atlanta after three seasons (2023-25) as defensive backs coach for the Arizona Cardinals, where he guided All-Pro safety Budda Baker to a seventh consecutive Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. Toney spent 11 years at the collegiate level, including co-defensive coordinator/safeties at Florida (2022) and defensive coordinator roles at Louisiana. A Poway, Calif., native, he graduated from Southeastern Louisiana.
