Background
Nick Caley joins the Texans as offensive coordinator in 2025 after two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, most recently as passing game coordinator/tight ends coach, bringing 10 years of NFL experience. With the Rams he helped coordinate a passing attack that ranked 10th in the NFL in 2024 and worked with WR Puka Nacua and TE Tyler Higbee. Before Los Angeles he coached tight ends for the New England Patriots for six seasons (2017-22), mentoring Rob Gronkowski, Hunter Henry and fullback James Develin, after beginning his NFL career as a Patriots offensive coaching assistant (2015-16). Caley spent a decade coaching in the college ranks, primarily on defense, before reaching the NFL.
