Former NFL quarterback Matt Schaub was hired to coach the position he played on 2/20/26, after previously working in the league as a football analyst with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023. Before coaching, Schaub played quarterback for 17 seasons (2004-20) with the Falcons (2004-06; 2016-20), Texans (2007-13), Raiders (2014) and Ravens (2015) after being drafted by Atlanta in the third round (90th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Virginia.
