Kevin Richardson joins the Patriots as a defensive assistant following two seasons at Illinois as an assistant defensive backs coach, where he helped the Fighting Illini to a 10-3 record in 2024. He previously coached the defensive backs at Long Island University and served as a defensive graduate assistant at Illinois, coaching several future NFL draft picks.
