Background

Jeremy Springer enters his second season in New England as special teams coordinator after serving as a special teams assistant with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022 and 2023. In his first season as coordinator in 2024, his unit ranked second in the NFL by Pro Football Focus grade, S Brenden Schooler earned First-Team All-Pro honors, and K Joey Slye and P Bryce Baringer set franchise records. Before the NFL, Springer spent eight seasons coaching college special teams, including coordinator roles at Arizona and Marshall. He played linebacker at UTEP.
