Background

Darren Rizzi enters his first season as special teams coordinator/assistant head coach for the Denver Broncos in 2025. He was hired by the club on February 14. A 32-year coaching veteran with 16 years of NFL experience with New Orleans (2019-24) and Miami (2009-18), Rizzi joins Denver after six seasons with the Saints, where he served as assistant head coach/special teams coordinator and as interim head coach for the final eight games of the 2024 season.
