Background
Dan Quinn enters his second season as Washington's head coach after being hired as the 31st head coach in franchise history on February 3, 2024.
2026 Outlook
Quinn leads the Commanders into Year 2, but after a strong inaugural campaign (led them to NFC Championship), expectations were high and early returns are disappointing. Through Week 4, Washington sits at 1-3 and Quinn is on the hot seat with no margin for error — he could be fired in the next couple of games if the losses continue. Scheme & Fantasy Angle
Quinn is a defensive-minded head coach who oversees Washington's overall scheme and game-management; his hiring set the direction for an offense built around quarterback Jayden Daniels.
