Background

June is in his fifth season with the Colts as the team's assistant linebackers coach. He has 15 years of coaching experience.

He assisted a 2025 Colts defense that recorded a takeaway in a league-leading 15 games, finished seventh in the NFL in opponent rushing yards per game and 10th in lowest opponent passer rating (88.0). Additionally, Indianapolis led the NFL in red zone takeaways (seven) and ranked sixth in opponent yards per play in the red zone (2.40). June worked with linebackers Zaire Franklin and Germaine Pratt, both of whom eclipsed 100 tackles. Franklin finished with 125 tackles (62 solo), 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, five passes defensed and one forced fumble. After joining the team prior to Week 6, Pratt started 12 games for Indianapolis and recorded 101 tackles (57 solo), 5.0 tackles for loss, eight passes defensed, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. It marked Pratt's third consecutive 100-tackle season.
