Background
Brian Bell is in his 11th season coaching in the NFL and his eighth season with the Titans. After joining Tennessee in 2018 as a strength and conditioning assistant, he was named sports performance coordinator in 2022 and promoted to assistant director of sports performance in 2023. Across his first 10 NFL seasons he was part of five playoff teams and four division winners, including the Titans' back-to-back AFC South titles in 2020 and 2021 and the 2019 run to the AFC Championship Game. Before Tennessee he spent three seasons with the Houston Texans as assistant strength and conditioning coach and worked at Penn State (2012-13). A former tight end and fullback at Kent State (2002-06), he signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent in 2007.
