Background
Ben McDaniels enters his fifth year with the Texans, serving as wide receivers coach/offensive passing game coordinator. He owns 22 years of coaching experience, including 11 in the NFL, and joined Houston after three seasons (2018-20) at the University of Michigan as quarterbacks coach (2019-20) and an offensive analyst (2018). He helped develop WR Nico Collins into a Pro Bowler and back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, and worked with Tank Dell, Stefon Diggs and Brandin Cooks during his Houston tenure.
Scheme & Fantasy Angle
McDaniels directs a Texans receiving room that has produced top fantasy wideouts, headlined by Nico Collins's rise to a 1,000-yard, Pro Bowl receiver alongside C.J. Stroud, making Houston's lead WR a strong fantasy target.
