Background

Ashton Grant joins the Patriots in 2025 as quarterbacks coach after five seasons in various offensive roles with the Cleveland Browns, where he worked alongside Mike Vrabel on the 2024 staff. As offensive assistant/quarterbacks in Cleveland (2023-24), he helped WR Jerry Jeudy to career highs and a Pro Bowl, and worked with quarterbacks Jameis Winston, Deshaun Watson and Joe Flacco. He held earlier roles in Cleveland's running backs and wide receivers rooms and as an offensive quality control coach, and previously coached at Holy Cross. Grant played wide receiver at Assumption, where he holds the school record for receiving yards.
