Anthony Weaver assumes Baltimore's defensive coordinator role following two seasons (2024-25) in the same position with the Miami Dolphins, where in 2024 he directed a unit that finished fourth in total defense. He previously spent three seasons (2021-23) with Baltimore as run game coordinator/defensive line coach and then assistant head coach/defensive line coach, a span in which the Ravens led the league in third-down defense and, in 2023, owned the NFL's top scoring defense. Before that he served as the Texans' defensive coordinator/defensive line coach and defensive line coach across five seasons, with earlier line-coaching stops at Cleveland, Buffalo and the New York Jets. Weaver played seven NFL seasons with Baltimore (2002-05) and Houston (2006-08) after a four-year starting career at Notre Dame, where he earned All-America honors.
