Not likely — Kubiak's Raiders offense looks like a bell-cow setup built around Ashton Jeanty, not a heavy committee.
Here's why:
Kubiak's system and explicit commitment: The Shanahan outside-zone scheme Kubiak runs has never been committee-heavy. The wiki notes Kubiak explicitly committed to a McCaffrey-model usage for Jeanty — high snap share, bell-cow touches, 266+ carries (he already had 266 as a rookie, most among 2025 rookies). Kubiak said the entire offseason roster construction was done "with the notion in mind of playing off of Jeanty, directly or indirectly" (from the Ashton Jeanty page).
Backfield competition: The only other back of note is Mike Washington Jr. (4th-round pick), who's explicitly described as a "change-of-pace back" and expected to "reduce load slightly" — not a committee partner.
Expert take: On Fantasy Points, Evan Silva said Jeanty benefits from the improved environment (Kolton Miller back, better OL via Linderbaum, better QB play), and Underdog's Josh & Hayden called Jeanty a "touchdown light" in a more watchable Raiders offense — both treating him as the clear lead back.
One caveat: the Raiders project as a rebuilding 5-12 team with Kirk Cousins starting early and rookie Mendoza learning. If the offense struggles and games get out of hand, game script could force more passing downs where Washington sees the field. But by design and personnel investment, this is Jeanty's backfield, not a committee.
