Coby Bryant (Chicago Bears safety) is out 8–10 weeks after injuring his knee in the first padded practice on August 3. He suffered a hyperextended knee, bone bruise, and small fracture while covering Cole Kmet in a one-on-one drill, and was carted off. No surgery is expected, but he'll miss at least the first three weeks (Panthers, Vikings, Eagles) and is questionable for Week 5 at best. Cam Lewis has been filling in at safety (from the Coby Bryant page).
