Did Drake Maye get benched after the Giants game?

No — the wiki has no record of Maye being benched (or even of the Patriots playing the Giants in the coverage period). What it does show: after a brutal 1-TD, 6-INT start through Week 3 that drew public benching calls from Boomer Esiason, Maye stayed in the lineup and rebounded with a dominant Week 4 performance in an OT win over Buffalo (29-26), then followed with strong Weeks 4-5 (7 TDs, 0 INTs against Buffalo and Las Vegas). A.J. Brown's return in Week 6 was expected to help him further (from the Drake Maye page).
