# Tyler Higbee

NFL tight end. Position: **TE**. Team: **Los Angeles Rams**.

## Quick Facts

- **Position:** TE
- **Team:** LAR (Los Angeles Rams)

## 2026 Outlook

**Week 6 DFS recommendation (Oct 15):** NBC Sports recommends Higbee at $3,400 DFS cost for Week 6, highlighting his strong recent production: 23 targets, 18 catches, and 212 yards over his last three games (one game with Ferguson sidelined, two games missed). Against the Cardinals in Week 6, Higbee qualifies as a strong DFS value given the Cardinals' generally moderate tight-end defense (72.6 yards allowed per game) combined with the Rams' 52.5 over/under indicating elevated scoring environment (per FLEX Finder Week 6: Let Brandin Cooks). At $3,400, he offers significant upside from the tight end position with consistent target volume.

**Week 5 volume surge with Ferguson sidelined (Oct 10, 2026):** Higbee emerged as a key waiver option after Terrance Ferguson landed on injured reserve with a medial ankle sprain. In Week 4 win over Philadelphia, Higbee caught 5-of-6 targets for 67 yards, giving him 13 catches on 17 targets (76.5% catch rate) over the last two games. Importantly, the volume held up with Puka Nacua back in the lineup—suggesting Higbee has established a durable route role. RotoBaller ranks him as their third-ranked TE waiver option and recommends adding him in 12-team PPR leagues. He's not a set-and-forget TE1, but with reliable volume at a thin position, six more targets against Buffalo would make him a usable streamer. At TE, finding consistent volume is premium; Higbee qualifies. (per Weekend Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Football Week 5 (2026) - RotoBaller).

## Role / Depth Chart

Primary tight end in Sean McVay's offense with Puka Nacua as primary WR threat. Elevated usage with Ferguson sidelined.
