# CJ Donaldson

NFL player. Position: **RB**. Team: **NO**.

## Quick Facts

- **Position:** RB
- **Team:** NO (New Orleans Saints)
- **Draft:** Undrafted rookie (2026)

## 2026 Outlook

Undrafted rookie call-up signed to active roster (not fullback in the traditional sense, but aligned there within Saints' formations). Originally promoted from practice squad in Week 1 as injury fill-in for Alvin Kamara, then re-elevated in Week 2. After proving his value on special teams (20 snaps) and in limited offensive snaps (15 snaps, 2 carries for 4 yards, 1 reception for -2 yards), the Saints opted to sign him to the 53-man roster rather than use the elevation slot each week. This move signals Saints' confidence in his versatility and special-teams value. His speed-strength combination makes him useful in short-yardage and goal-line situations. With Travis Etienne Jr. handling early-down work and Alvin Kamara as secondary back, Donaldson's role is limited-opportunity reserve, unlikely to produce consistent fantasy points unless injury strikes the backfield (per Saints' CJ Donaldson Decision Means Change Sticks for RB Depth Chart).

## Role / Depth Chart

Reserve fullback/RB. Primarily used in goal-line and special-teams packages. Depth chart sits behind Travis Etienne Jr. and Alvin Kamara.
