## Background
Darnell Stapleton enters his third season with the team, and first as Offensive Line Coach after serving as Washington's Assistant Offensive Line Coach for the previous two seasons. Last season, the Commanders ranked fourth in the NFL in total rushing yards (2,290) and fourth in rushing yards per game (134.7), and Stapleton continued to develop offensive linemen including 2025 first-round pick Josh Conerly Jr. He joined the Commanders in 2024 after 12 years of collegiate coaching, including stops at Florida (2022-23), Louisiana-Lafayette (2021), Sam Houston State (2018-20) and Bucknell (2014-17). As a player, Stapleton was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers (2007-09) and won Super Bowl XLIII.

## Scheme & Fantasy Angle
Stapleton leads an offensive line that ranked fourth in the NFL in rushing yards last season, run blocking that underpins the fantasy value of Washington's backfield.
