# What did the Colts get in return for Quenton Nelson?

The Colts traded **Quenton Nelson** (eight-time Pro Bowl guard) to the Seattle Seahawks on October 27 in exchange for a **2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick** (from the [Quenton Nelson page](https://example.com/quenton-nelson)).

The trade was part of the Colts' fire sale after they fired GM Chris Ballard on Oct 24. ESPN gave the deal an **A-** grade for Seattle, noting Nelson gave the Seahawks a much-needed interior O-line upgrade for Sam Darnold's protection.
