# Is Jadarian Price out for the season after being placed on IR?

No, Jadarian Price is **not out for the season** — he was placed on IR with a chest injury, but that's a minimum 4-game absence, not a season-ender. The Seahawks explicitly expect him back; Emanuel Wilson's page notes this is a "temporary boost" and that once Price returns he'll revert to his lead role (from the Emanuel Wilson page). Wilson and George Holani are splitting carries in a committee until Price is eligible to return.
