# Did Andy Reid comment on the Chiefs signing Justin Tucker?

Yes, Andy Reid commented on the signing. When asked about Justin Tucker's past — including the 10-game NFL suspension he served in 2025 following sexual misconduct allegations — Reid had two main things to say:

- **On the due diligence:** "We try to do our homework the best way we can." (from the [Harrison Butker page](https://www.chatffb.com/wiki/harrison-butker))
- **On the suspension:** "He's done his suspension. Took care of his business there." (from the [Harrison Butker page](https://www.chatffb.com/wiki/harrison-butker))

The signing came in late October 2026 after starting kicker Harrison Butker missed five field goals through Week 7, including two in a loss to the Seahawks. Tucker joined the Chiefs' practice squad to create competition at the position.
